A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Northwest Indiana Tweet-Up! What started as a simple idea — let’s get the NWI Twitter community together in person — turned into an incredible evening of conversation, connection, and community that exceeded all of our expectations.

For those unfamiliar, a Tweet-Up is a real-world meetup organized through Twitter, bringing together people who interact online for a face-to-face gathering. The NWI Tweet-Up brought together bloggers, business owners, marketers, educators, and social media enthusiasts from across Northwest Indiana for an evening of networking and fun. It was amazing to put faces to Twitter handles and discover just how vibrant and engaged our local online community really is.

Livemercial has always believed in the power of bringing people together, whether it’s through our Digital Cocktail Party series, industry trade shows, or grassroots social gatherings like this one. Social media isn’t just a marketing channel for us — it’s a way to build genuine relationships with the people and communities around us. The NWI Tweet-Up was a perfect example of that philosophy in action.
